Named for the naturalist John Muir, the Muirlands neighborhood of La Jolla is one of the most exclusive and desired in all of San Diego. The original “Muirfield” estate, located on over two acres of prime real estate on the famous Muirlands Drive, has been lovingly restored to its original 1930′s flair and is an example of a wonderful Spanish Colonial revival mansion. Located on the western slopes of Mount Soledad, the homes in Muirlands are grand and have incredible grounds and sweeping ocean views. The Muirlands section of La Jolla is often recognized as one of the oldest and largest neighborhoods with over 1000 residences. Homes in the Muirlands neighborhood range in value from $2 million to $20 million.
